Your generous donation will play a crucial role in ensuring that children struggling with food insecurity receive the nutritious meals they need. Proper nutrition is essential for their physical health, but it also significantly impacts their ability to concentrate and perform well academically. By supporting our program, you're not just providing food; you're helping clear the minds of these children, giving them a better chance to succeed in school and build a brighter future. Thank you for making a difference in their lives.
Every child deserves the chance to succeed, and it begins with a nutritious meal. Adequate nutrition boosts attendance, concentration, and overall academic performance. Unfortunately, hunger affects millions of children, hindering their ability to learn and thrive. Poor nutrition leads to higher absenteeism, lower grades, and decreased cognitive performance. Your donation can change this, helping us provide essential nutrition to fuel their future and pave the way for academic success. Join us in our mission to fuel their future and make a lasting impact on young learners’ lives.
We are incredibly proud of the impact we have made in the fight against childhood hunger. Our efforts have helped children from preschool through 8th grade gain access to nutritious meals, improving their school performance and overall well-being. By supporting their nutritional needs, we are fueling their potential and paving the way for a brighter future.
In partnership with Atlantic Health Systems, Pearls of Wisdom provides “power pack” bags filled with non-perishable food items for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. The bags provide food for children in grades K-8 to eat over the weekends when school is not in session. Food is distributed every other week at the Morristown Neighborhood House to families enrolled in the program.
The Pearls of Wisdom volunteers realized that many of the children in the CHIPP program had younger siblings who should also receive nutrition over the weekends. With a generous donation from Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we were able to establish a program for preschoolers in May 2024. Their “power packs” are also distributed every other week at the Morristown Neighborhood House.
